Is everything really handmade?

Yes. Every piece we sell is handcrafted by artisans: our Chanderi and Maheshwari sarees are woven on handlooms, and our prints, metalwork, lacquerware and paintings are made by hand. We do not sell machine-made copies.

What is the difference between Chanderi and Maheshwari?

Chanderi is sheer and light, often with fine zari butis. Maheshwari is a little softer, known for simple stripes and checks and a reversible border. See The Rivers for more.

Does the saree come with a blouse piece?

Yes, every saree includes a blouse piece.

How long does delivery take?

Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery anywhere in India. See Shipping & Returns.

Is cash on delivery available?

Yes. You can also pay online by UPI, card or net banking.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, within 7 days of delivery, if it is unworn and unwashed with its tags and packaging. See Shipping & Returns.

Why are there small irregularities?

Each piece is made by hand, so tiny variations in weave, print or finish are natural. They are a sign of the hand that made it.
